Manitou Cliff Dwellings by Drake

The Manitou Cliff Dwellings (by Drake)




The Manitou Cliff Dwellings are one of the coolest things in colorado.The Anasazi, or "The Ancient Ones" practiced their religious rituals in an underground room known as a kiva (kee-vah). 
Around 1200 A.D. the people abandoned their mesa top and became "Cliff Dwellers".  This is a great Cliff Dwelling!
